thanks man. ray said he had a melling oil pump drive shaft, will that be strong enough, or stick with the arp one.

stock oil pumps are great. High volume for a lot of cubes at high rpms.
ARP is an easy pump shaft to pick out of a catalog, or any steel forging should do there.

Another vote for a stock pump with a hardened shaft. Factory 5.O oiling is pretty bitch'n

After 2 hours of driving to Sac, I had over 60 pounds of oil pressure at idle with my Hi Volume Oil Pump. I kinda like the extra pressure.

Monster motor...Hardly. Mostly stock 5 liter with a cam and gear drive. My car is way slow.
