Anyone know what the difference is between a xpipe for 96-98 as opposed to one for 99-03? And is there a difference between ones for SOHC and DOHC?

What ever exuast you put on, your car will never be as fast and as loud as my Roush. You will still get smocked even with your 03 cobra motor.

all i know is that i have been told over the phone by bbk and mac that they are not interchangable, but that is what i have been told, no personal experience, and the pipes are different between dual and single over head cam engines

I guess once I get my engine in I will just have to run straight headers until I get the right xpipe

I thought you were not going to put headers on. You should while the motor is out. JBA shorty headers.

I have no idea but if they are even close and you or a budy can weld you can modify it real easy.

the difference is the 99-03 has IRS and it interferes with the location of the exhaust....I dunno if it makes a difference for x/h pipe or just catback tho?
I'm sure you want the one for DOHC if you have DOHC ......the sohc is for gt's not cobras
