I bought a set of Summit Stage 2 connecting rods with ARP bolts and I can't get the cap off to install them in my engine. I took the nuts off, but they won't budge. I tried to tap them lightly, but that didn't work either. How do I pull these things appart?

Do you have a rubber mallet? You might want to give that a try. I wouldn't worry too much about hurting the rods....they're pretty damn strong. Just tap it until it comes loose and make sure you have something soft for it to fall on.

Knock out both of the rod bolts and the cap will come off. Or just bring it by Diablo Engine and Machine and I will help you out. Just ask for J.K.
