In a few weeks I am going to install a vortech s/c WITH A COOLER on my 00 GT. but I want the most HP i can get out of my stock 4.6. I am also planning on some gears, drag radials, off road x-pipe and maybe a torque converter was wondering what other mods could I do to my 4.6 without blowing out???

throttle body, bigger maf, bigger injectors, RACE systems chip(a must), AFM power pipe, long tube headers
do u have pi heads (in other words what year is ur car)

70mm throttle body, 87mm MAF, 38/42lb injectors, 255 WALBRO in tank fuel pump, an inline fuel pump, and the all popular Autologic chip tuned at either APEX or Mustang Ranch. Headers would also be very beneficial. I personally wouldn't recommend getting a power pipe; high boost on these stock 4.6s means trouble. But I guess it depends how many pounds of boost your pushing. I bet its 10lbs if you getting the kit from Vortech?
