hey i got home from goodguys car show yesterday and went out today to find a puddle of coolant below where the trans. connects to the engine. i cant figure out where its coming from. its on the side with the starter (passenger side) and it seems to be somewhere neer the heads. i just cant get in to see it. i think sitting in traffic to get to the show for over an hour must have done it? any help?

could it be from where your heater core is? i know that THAT is right above there you're talking about and might be an easy fix.

i though it may have been a head gasket...
it leaking from the firewall right above the passenger side header.and somtime i turn on the heater and smoke comes out,and smells like syrup(coolant)WTF?

Do you have any coolant or wet spots on your passenger side floor mats. Does your defroster fog the windows when you turn it on. Does it smell like coolant at all??

You said it was comming from neer the heads? I had the same problem on my car. Check the small coolant hose comming off the back of your throttle body. It goes to a fitting on the back of the lower intake. I would put money thats your problem. Its hella hard to find. if thats your problem fix it quick. Cause i let mine go and it fucked up my starter. Good luck [patriot] [Razz]

well i decided to start it back up and ran it for a couple minutes. nothing else came out so it might have just been from idling in the heat for so long os something? i guess its fine but ill keep an eye on it.
