Anybody know any links for a spring install on a 99 GT? Also, anybody heard of Vogtland, I saw them in 5.0 magazine and decided to give those a try.

87 is cake....get a spring compressor.....compress springs pull out.....do reverse put new ones in uncompress....you can rent the tool from kragen....

don't think you will nedd to compress the springs i never had on a mustang ive lowered a few stangs.

I agree with "GR40coupe", you DO NOT need a spring compressor..you dont even need to unbolt the struts from the spindle!

the only thing im scared to mess with is the caliper... but i do need to remove it though right???

yes you need to remove it from the rotor but you do not need to undue the hose. loosen the bolts to the caliper and before removing then take a flat screw driver and press between the rotor and pad, this will expand the pads and allow easy re-asembley. Then remove the caliper from the rotor and take a piece of wire or zip tie and hang it from a bolt hole so not to put hang weight on the hose. Once you reinstall the caliper press on your brake peddle before driving other wise you will have no brakes the first 1 or 2 pushes.
