why not hide the wiring/lines?

in my opinion, if your car was a factory A/C car, it is a good idea to keep everything so that it can be quickly returned to A/C. Many if not most of the vacuum lines you pointed out in the first picture are smog related. Are you deleting that too? Or just ignore me like you usually do.

No I am not removing the smog portion part of my car, just the ac. I was told that I can remove the vaccum portion of thr ac from the tree and thats all. I will never put the ac on my car so I figure why not take the harness out I will keep the parts you never know, but I was told it wont throw any codes.

BTW the only time I ignore you is when you make irrelvent posts to questions that I have.

From what I know, you can't disconnect the lines because they ARE smog related. I have the same kit as IKE and i removed the condenser, compressor, the ONE woring harness that you removed, and the little bottle thingy that is near the vacuum lines you are trying to remove that you shouldn't! [Smile] Oh and by the way, you can't just remove the lines like you said in picture number 4. The condenser comes out all as on piece and those things are connected to it. I am sure you knew that but the way you worded it I wasn't sure if you did or not. Hope this helps [patriot]

Yes, you can remove that wiring harness. I wouldn't remove any vacuum lines. Make sure you take that condensor out, it will allow the radiator to 'see' much more cool air.

Ok today after I get off work I will take the compressor out and put the FMS delete kit in. I will post pics tonight.

This weekend I will porbably remove the condensor. Do you have to remove the whole radiator for this?

no you dont have to remove the radiator. You can take it out from the bottom. You may have to jack the car a couple of inches, especially if its lowered, for it to slip out smoothly. I didn't need to jack mine but mine sits just slightly higher than stock since the front end has lost about 100 or more lbs. but the condenser scraped on the floor just a little.

I didn't completely remove my radiator. I just removed the two top supporting brackets and the fan/fan shroud. Since I have an electric fan, I was able to tilt the radiator forward and remove the condensor from the top.
