how much more horses can this output if any? what does it improve most ??

depends on the head and the combo. With properly matched parts you could add 100 or more HP to an EFI 302 with the right heads. Stock E7 heads ported with the right parts can run in the 11's on motor.
it improves airflow and resulting volumetric efficiency, *but* once you target the heads other parts of the combo become the new restriction (e.g. intake, exhaust, cam)
I don't believe you'll get much more than 25 HP out of the worlds most perfect heads on a stock 5.0 EFI car with everything else being 100% stock.

Another important question to ask yourself is "is it worth it to port". These days with MANY cylinder head options out there for 5.O's, you're almost always better off simply buying a head with larger/better flowing ports than paying someone to grind a set of heads out.
For example, with the price of GT40-P heads these days, its almost not practical at all to pay someone to port stock 5.O heads. You're almost always better off simply buying GT40-P heads instead.
