Body shops in Cali? Know of any body shop schools in or around the SanFrancisco Bayarea? I have a 65 stang that I would like to have a school use my car as a learning tool for students of a bodywork/paint school. Perhaps as a final grading. If they have that I do not know how it works? Would I get everything free in exchange for letting the students work and learn on my car? Or would I just have to pay for some of the cost of parts, paint, etc....??? Let me know. I have a few things I would like to get done to my car. Floor pans, whole body alignment, sandblast the whole car, straighten out the dings and bumps, fresh paint job, new headliner. and then some.

Or Solano College in Fairfield. They have body shop classes and an entire mechanics line of classes from intro. to advanced skill. Give 'em a call. # is 707-864-7000 or 707-864-1006. That second number is registration/information I think?? Hope this help! [ February 27, 2003, 01:54 AM: Message edited by: Quick 88LX ]

Your a brave person to let a high school shop work on your car. I know livermore has one but they charge a shop fee plus materials. Be preparedto buy lots of bondo and primer. The will probably fill the same dent a couple of times before they get it right. Might be better towing it down to mexico for paint and body. Good luck!
