I want to get my fender lips professionally rolled, anyone have any idea on where to go or how much it runs? My 275's rub on the slightest bump in the road, last thing i need is a blow out .

Its pretty simple and I don't see why one can't do it themselves with standard tools.
With that said, any body should will be able to do it.

It takes a LOT of time but can be done "nicely" with nothing but a rubber mallet.

I just did mine. I used the tin snips and hammer. I did have to repaint the wheel well lip though. The paint chiped off a little. After I did the roll, I found out that I did not have to roll it as much as I did. My 275's cleard with out any trouble. Thats also with a 1/4 inch spacer as well.

tri-bar, if you take a ziplock bag and fill it with sand, then hold it on to the outside of the wheel well as you pound the inside then it seems to absorb a lot of the impact and none of my paint chipped. [ February 24, 2003, 02:18 PM: Message edited by: SIR Paint Job w/ '84 TercelOnYoMama ]

I would just spend the $60 for the fender tool and do it right. [ February 24, 2003, 03:00 PM: Message edited by: DennisG ]
