What should fuel pressure be set at? Mine is at 35 psi and drops to 33 when reved above 1500. I was thinking it should be in the 38 to 40 psi range. any ideas. I have a stock fuel pressure regulator, I hear Kirben are the way to go. I will be buying a ajustable one soon.

I been told its normal because your vacuum increases slightly at part throttle, lowering the fuel pressure. Your fuel pressure will raise (stock setting is 41#'s at WOT/0 vacuum I think) when you go WOT (no vacuum). Try doing some QUICK WOT revs. Another person inside the car should do this because I dont think doing it by hand is fast enough unless you want to accidentely hit the fuel cut off @ 6200 or get close to it.

No, I am talking about my car and yes there is only 35 psi and 33 at WOT! What the fuck, I do have 24 and slightly larger fuel rails(351 rails), but thats low I think.

Eric, since you melted part of my dads timing light, let me get one of your smog pumps. When can I come by and see the new car. And yes 205 would be nice, so would canfields!!!! [Big Grin]
