The Mark VIII fans are also a good one to go with, larger and more flow than the taurus mentioned above, yet more pricey from ford, and more rare to find in a yard. Good job with the heads up for everyone!!

Looks good. I did a similar thing.... $20 fan from a V6 '83 Buick station wagon ('84 Chevy Celebrity with the same V6 also works ans I'm sure other GM cars had the same fan), and I use used 12 guage wire and a top quality 40 amp relay I pocketed from the VW section of the junk yard. A $3 radio shack toggle switch control its. The fan mounts inside the factory shroud and looks completely OEM! I should take pictures of it and post it.

I slapped a Mark VIII fan on mine, and 2 POS 35 amp relays in parallel (WTF was I thinking?), but it works. My brackets suck, and I had to hacksaw the Lincoln shroud bigtime to clear the H20 pump. Anyways my install sucks, lol.
