Trying to put everything in the fenderwell, this is about the only place I could think of without removing my washer fluid. Once the liner is put back in it will be completly covered so no water will be able to hit it at all, at least that is what I am hoping! Also, I routed the line for the washers through the cowl, had to drill a small hole, but that was it!

I mounted mine in the pass side fender-well...Its closer on the pass. side to the coil and batt for a power source...I went to Orchard Supply and bought a sheet of aluminum to make a mounting plate for the MSD box..I attached the sheet of alum. with two screws to the frame rail..I then attached one other screw for the aluminum mounting plate to the radiator core support....I then could mount all four mounts for the MSD to the alum. braket..It is very stiff and with the MSD box mounted its even stiffer..With the inner fender linner in, it has never got wet in the few occasional times I've driven in the rain..
