What are the advantages of getting a racing dampner over the stock one?

Its SFI approved, and better quality IMO. Handles more abuse too.

sounds good to me, would i know definitely if my stock one is bad? sometimes the Jeep vibrates funny and sometimes it doesn't and i wonder if its that or the cam lope?

Is it normal for the stock dampner to look like its lopsided?(sp?) while the engine is running

The engine doesn't shake that much so i am not sure if it is really bad or not. If it was bad would i know for sure? Would it be terrible shaking?
