What do you mean by accurate?
As for how much power.... nitrous loves free flow exhaust and free flowing exhaust ports on the heads....not to mention power gains have a lot to do with the tune, bottle pressure, ect as well.

I heard if you squeeze a 125 dry it should roughly be about 100HP added. Is this true?

Some kits are more accurate than others as far as horse power...It all depends on the bottle pressure & the quality of the nozzles and other components...I've seen dyno of NOS(Nitrous Oxide Systems) 125hp shot equal less than 80hp to the wheels..(which is not accurate)..Ive seen a Zex kit W/125hp shot put around 98hp to the wheels...But Maybe someone that has used nitrous and dyno tested it themselves could help you better...

yeah on the Nos webite it says to get at or near what the advertised horsepower is the PSI should be at or above 960 which they say is about 90*F. There are so many factors that come into play that it could be 45hp lower or right on the money. It all depends on the condidtions at the time and what your combo is.

I don't know much about nitrous, but it probably also has to do with the engine that it's going on.

NX rates their power gains at the wheels instead of the crank like NOS.
NX is by far more superior to me than NOS.
And of course any bottle that is sprayed cold will not produce advertised HP and that will in turn become dangerous..
