I was changing my front pads today and I found two very small cracks next to the pistons in my calipers. Does anyone know how dangerous this is b/c I dont have $ for new ones. Also, does anyone know if the brakes on a 99GT have any recalls on them? Thanks

Is it definitely a crack? Sometimes a casting mark looks like a crack. If it definitely is cracked, put it back together and go to the Ford dealer. If they don't fix it, maybe one day your brakes will fail and you can't stop the car before it drives through their showroom window.

Ha Ha, thats too funny. But yes, I rubbed them with my fingers and one of them chipped a little bit. Funny thing is, both calipers have the crack in very similiar places.
