Aiight, I need to cop a new set of heads for my blower.....
Is there any heads out there besides the PI's for us 4.6'ers???
Any recommendations??
If there aren't any besides the PI's, where can I get a brand new set other than Ebay & Ford...any aftermarkets or places that sell ported PI's?

I've got a 98Gt which is shitty due to the heads....hense the blower & heads upgrade....this may be stupid, but I don't think I can put cobra heads on my 2V.

What type of modifacations do I need to do javi? And also, is that a better idea instead of ported PI's?

you can swap the 2v heads and put 4v on youre gonna need all the upper shit though, i forget what company it is but they sell the whole kit for it, to me its not worth it unless you plan on rebuilding the whole motor just go with some FRPP heads or the PI heads ported and polished dont get a high lift cam though lots of people have been breaking even the mod max springs with too high of a lift go the 2v route

yeah go through the game hes a awsome porter but shannon wheeler aka the game says hell turn them around for you in 2-3 weeks but ends up being months and months and when you try to get ahold of the guy he wont return emails or calls, just not worth it to me check out www.foxlakeracing.com or i can give some more sources, shannon does a great job he just isnt good at running a business and customer service. Juiced46 off corral.net has a 96 GT with 01 heads and intake heads are ported and polished mod max springs and mod max over size valves he dynoed in at 310rwhp the most ive seen yet from a n/a headswap

Yeah I have heard the same thing but I was going to buy motor and heads so I wasnt to worried about the time. Maybe he has gotten better with it who knows. Openning a shop and getting the ball rolling can be hard at first. So what cam did this guy go with? 310 thats pretty damn good for just heads.

actually the most power from a n/a 281 is 337rwhp i believe he's on the corral but doesn't post much stock compression ported svo heads, bullit intake ported, cams all bolt ons a tune the 281 come real hard by to make power on motor but you don't need much to get great times mustang92 bill on stangnet 99gt runs 12.5 108 5sp with just 258rwhp 295tq 1.5 60ft

yeah he can run some amazing times, but hes got a drag suspension from hell and weight reduction mods up the ass and can drive like a mad man, id like to talk to that guy with the ported svo heads who got 337rwhp thats impressive and id like to see the curve on that thing but with stock compression?? juiced and most others close to the 300rwhp mark were running the stock pistons with the increased compression from the heads you got a name for that guy on corral?

This is pretty darn close to my combo, 97 GT motor, '00 PI heads proted and polished, Mod max valves and springs, Bullitt Upper, But I still need to get the right cams. I am going n/a, possible 125-maybe 150 shot.

Fox Lake does a full head port, polish, valves, and springs for around $1200. not including heads. Looks like there are going to be alot of PI swaps happening.
