I agree with shade-tree, try the stock MAF and see what happens. If the car idles fine with the stock MAF back in it and the check engine light is still on, disconnect the battery ground cable for 10 to 15 minutes, this will usually clears the codes. A C+L 80 mm will work fine with his car. You use the factory flange tube. That kit is a joke, worth 2 hp.
