For those of you who have the newer Tremec 3650 and are experiencing grinding from the 1-2 shift or 2-3, there is a service bulletin out for our cars. My car has it from 1-2 on cold mornings. If you want more info, there are a couple other threads on corral and stangnet that have more info.

And http://www.corral.net/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=49530
I will probably talk to the dealership pretty soon about my options. I'm interested to hear if anybody else here has the same problems.

My 01 Cobra has more of a notchyness on the 1-2 shift when cold than a grind. It goes away pretty quickly, so for the time being I'm happy to let it be.
