Does anyone happen to know how much it would cost to install gull wing doors? can it be done on a coupe body style or vert only? Just curious and tryin to add that to "the list" if possible

why don't you call the guy that is selling that car for $57,000 and ask him how much it's going to cost. Seems the easiest way to find out to me.

I figured it would cost a lot... but that just looks so nice...
I had $7,000 to spend and probably around another $1,000 or so from xmas and bday, if it was under 10 than awesome but 15...a bit high
Thanks guys for the dickhead answers [ December 22, 2002, 04:22 PM: Message edited by: SwayracingSVT ]

Formula 1 is located in Northridge, CA and it took them about 3 months to complete it. (818) 709-1414 ask for george or mike.

Don't even call, I called recently to get my doors done or enquire and he basically told me to suck my own balls. Don't have time, too hard, not worth it, only want to race their cars, flat out not interested. Tried a couple of other places around here and they werent' interested either, but let me know if you find some place who does them.

that is a member of SoCalWildhorses. it cost $15k for the gull wing doors to get installed. and it took him 2 times to get it right. the first time, they messed up on the install. i really want those gull wing doors aswell. but i dont think its worth $15k...no way

I live out in Northridge California and actually saw that car driving by one night down Reseda BLVD... IMHO...gull wing doors should be on cars like Lamborghinis or Deloreans...not on Mustangs...

To each his own. I am not so sure it would look too good on a stock cobra (well maybe) but my pops and I are workin on the "not so stock" look and i think it would look pretty BAD. although i havent seen it in person i think it looks pretty good in the pics, but no, not worth 15k like i said earlier, thats a bit high. i was lookin to spend 8-10k...

My .02. Gull wing doors only look cool when parked. You can use them when you drive, To me it's a wast of good money. To me it's the driving, not the parking that counts.
