My cousin is getting a new EEC for his GT and when he went to Kragen they said that there were 2 different part numbers and they didn't know which one to get. His car is a 5spd. Any help is greatly appreciated.

If I remember right, Kragen charges an arm and a leg. Make a post in the Ford Sale section and check local auto wreckers, you can find them used for $50-75 around here. All EEC's from '89 to '93 will work in your buddies car, and so will California designated '88 EEC's. Just make sure its from a V8. The difference between auto and 5 speed EEC's is nothing you'll ever notice. [ December 17, 2002, 10:22 AM: Message edited by: st5150 ]

I stuffed one down a pant-leg at a junkyard before, lol.
A9L = 5-speed computer A9P = auto 'puter (don't get this one, lol)
the '94-'95 computers make good christmas ornaments.
