today i drove the car in the rain. i have the k&n fipk intake. the car made squeaky noises after i drove through some puddles. can water get in through the intake? and if it did wut will it do? and my check engine light came on.

if you have a cold air yea it can but I dont think you can get water if you have a simple cold air or just a K&N
but u would need to get a lot of water to couse problems

Very doubtful that any rain got in. It is diffucult for water to get sucked all the way up even if you have a ram air. Check codes.

i have ram air...oh believe it when i say it,my car ran like shit during this big storm.i tried jamming shop towels in there to soak up the incoming water but still ran like it was on 7 cylinders.i'm disconnecting it right now....... i put it back on in a few months. -Justin
