How do you nitrous users have your solenoids mounted? Pics would be great as I'm trying to get some ideas here.

is your car fuel injected or carb???? If it is carb, then you MUST mount both solenoids HIGHER than the carb, If it is fuel injected, is it dry or wet, and where are you injecting it in??

ok so you have like a NOS kit or BARRY GRANT or something, with a plate and a bar that goes through....should be really simple, i have mounted one there before, do you have the brackets and hard line for the solenoids, i just bent the brackets and made it bolt to the egr spacer thingy. i had the fuel solenoid towards the front, (because you need to tap into the fuel rail) and the solenoid for the nitrous on the rear side.. gives you more line to work with... should be really simple.....

I bolted mine to the firewall with self tapping metal screws and self-locking washers right below where the A/C lines used to go through the firewall and towards the passenger side fenderwell.
My N20 braided line comes up more or less following the fuel line from the trunk, and I tie=wrapped the shit out of it.
Tee'd the fuel line right at my aeromotive fuel pressure regulator.
Have a new hole I ran through the firewall for all the wiring, and that cool AFM ashtray bank of 4 switches. I wired up remote bottle opener, purge, master arm switch so far. For the 4th switch I'll probably make that the MSD 2-step thing for the 'burnout' RPM limiter to be active when I'm in the waterbox, and I'll try to remember to turn it off when done, lol.
sorry if that was TMI.

I have the Nitrous Works (Barry Grant) plate for mine. The solenoids right now are just zip-tied to the a/c line , but it seems to work fine for now. Should I go ahead and just mount them somewhere to be safe? I don't have the brackets to mount them so I could do what Joe did. Joe, I have my nitrous line running the same route also being held on by many zip-ties. I have my fuel line going to where the schraeder valve was. I also have the cool 4 switch setup for the ashtray, but mine's the Painless Wiring model. I have the master arm, and bottle warmer hooked to it, I need to make use of the purge switch, and I may run the other switch to my electric fan or to a 2-step if I get one. And it wasn't TMI.
