Going with TFS tw heads and 1.6 rrs. Not sure which I need? I could care less about anything really but functionality, not looking for chrome or anything.

Also, I see summit has a tfs head gasket set for like 85$. WOuld that be a good choice? Looking for suggestions on that also please, thanks. [patriot]

You guys have been a great help so far [worship]

i think chrome would look nice..but i would go with tall ones. What lift is your cam? if it's a high lift i'd go with the tall covers. I'd also use a fel-pro head gasket.

Its a TFS stage 1 cam

So from my limited experiance its a pretty small cam.
I'm just slowly running out of money so I'm trying to save by avoiding dress up things like chrome or carbon fiber (which I dislike anyways) etc for the time being [patriot]

Any dealer you suggest for fel-pro gaskets? thanks!

What intake are you running? Most tall valve covres will not clear a 5.0 long runner intake.

yeah you'd be fine with the normal valve covers. I wouldn't use anything but ARP fasterners. I use them and absolutely love them. U can get the gaskets through summit or jegs.

with tfs heads you don't need to use talk valve covers, the lip that the valve cover sits on is raised and will allow you to run the stock valve covers with roller rockers. just don't try doing that with a rocker girdle.

Hmm, If I could stick with the stock covers for now that wouldn't be so bad at all since I honestly don't care that much if it says trickflow all over or whatever [Wink]

Anyone know which felpro gasket kit will work? Lots of options on summit! [Eek!]

if you ever do feel like buying valve covers then might i suggest the black and red ford racing covers, only like $80 from a dealership. awesome looking and they dont need to stay as clean as chrome. [Big Grin]
