Yes There is a guy in the bay area that had a blown cobra R. It was in 5.0 about 6 months ago. It made 575rwhp. They took it down the track a few times, and it blew up. The only problem now is, no one makes parts for it I iknow he was in the process of ordering a ne wmotor or rebuilding it.

Go look at TDCs kit on there website. It list all the items that the kit comes with. Might give you an idea of what you need.

Replacement parts for an R are a bitch! Given a easier way to fix a blown motor, I'd consider it.

The heads and intake are what you can't get from Ford.
New oil pan from Canton, sure. New underdrive pullies from March, OK. Exhaust from Bassani, Yep. Springs from Eibach, shocks from Bilstien, and so on are no problem.
