whatisthe widest tire i can put in stock rim. 17/8 . i was wonder 285/40/17 in the rears. or 275/40/17. post thanh

I have 275's in the rear on my 7.5" wheel. Its not the greatest idea but who cares Id go with the 275's because they are prob cheaper than 285's. If you need some serious traction go with 275 drag radials.
