They're not the best choice for a street car. What are you trying to gain with lower control arms?

Well if you get Upper Control arms make sure that the bushings are rubber and not polyurethane. If the uppers and lower are both polyurethane bushings there will be no give and the axle will bind.

I will let my torque box damage speak for themselves! 1.67 best, and more 1.7x 60's than you can shake a stick at! (I'm not denying the work, but make sure you weld up your boxes or something--- I didn't and I paid for it)

Norgs- are you running slicks or ET streets? Those control arms are meant for non daily driver track whores launched on slicks.

Southsides work awsome! I average 1.32 60fts with SSM upper and lowers. You have to weld the torque boxes becuase they are week, not because of the SSM. As soon as your car starts to hook, no matter what traction control device you have, you will need to strengthen the boxes. You really have to make sure and get your pinion angle set right though, which is a real pain in the ass with the southsides. Much easier if you get adjustable uppers. I found 6 degrees of pinion angle worked the best for my car, but each car is different. IF you dont have the pinion set correctly, they wont work at all!
