For instance, I have a 3" cowl hood with a carbon inner that looks really killer and much different from any of those mail order cookie cutter hoods that you see on every other car. By the time you pay for shipping from back east, Maier's prices are about the same. However, their hoods are not the best fitting, and my dad and I have taken a bunch of hours to get the hood absolutely perfect, so keep that in mind. I can't count the number of horror stories I've read about people buying the cheaper version and ending up spending hundreds more to finish the hood.
