Does anybody know what type of cam I should buy for a 2000 Mustang GT with a 302 engine? If so, how much will it cost me?

that doesnt make sense. a mod v8 i think coms out to be a 281. did you stroke it or something? or did you swap a pushrod 302 in it? [ October 18, 2002, 04:38 PM: Message edited by: cobraman1994 ]

well, if you have a 281, then hit up sean hyland motorsports and look at what they have. your pretty limited to your options as compared to us with pushrod 302's and stuff. if you swapped a 302 in that car, then you already know enough to make your own decisions on cams. Either this is someone that doesn't know the size of thier engine or just has one of the tightest new GT's I've ever heard of. If so that shit must be quick as fuck. I like the B and E cam if so. F cam is just too much for me.

Stoked, 5.0's(302) are 2 valves, just like the 4.6L's,(281) Just now overhead cams.I think the person who started this thread should give us a little more information about his car. So we can better help him.

Like I stated earlier in my previous post to this topic....HOW DID U A 302 IN YOUR CAR? A) you stroked your 281 to a 302 B) you took out your 281 and dropped in a pushrod 302. C) you put in a 351 and destroked it to a 302 for whatever reasons you had to do so OR D) you have no idea what you engine even is, besides it being a V8.
Please clarify....would prolly help us help you more.
