Well,my gas tank has been leaking for a while now. I FINALLY bought the gasket that needs to be replaced. It goes where the fuel filler pipe connects to the tank itself,on the right hand side. Has anyone replaced this on there stang yet? I need to know how hard it is to do,what tools I need, and whether or not I will have to drop the entire tank. Thanks!~ [ October 07, 2002, 03:05 PM: Message edited by: Mike ]

Its VERY easy to do. You don't even have to drop the tank all the way, you can just drop the fill neck end, but you still have to take off both straps. Make sure you have no gas in the tank and it'll be a 1 hour job at most
