Just got my Stang back from the body shop and there are several engine lights blinking (Check Engine, ABS, …).
Yesterday my car shut down because I didn’t realize that the fan wasn’t turning on.
Thinking about buying an engine diagnostic tool to troubleshoot things.
Any suggestions on what to do, which tool to get and where to get it?
I tried the manual code puller... it didn't work on my 99 GT.

Naaa, I don't feel like doing something like that.

Anyone out here have one I could use?
Or know of a good shop for me to go to?

Go to autozone, tell them you have a SES light and you would like them to pull the codes. He pulled the codes and looked each one up for me and told me what it was.

For some reason my fan is not turning on, so I'm not sure how far I can take my car before it turns off.
Damn thing turned off on my Saturday night.
But I'll check'em out.

My car's Check Engine light turns on and off when i'm driving. I checked the owners manual and it explained that the computer is having trouble relaying a bunch of things. But if yours blinks on and off, that means the computer has corrected the problem. It shouldn't interfere with the engine performance. But do check the thermostat for the radiator. If its busted, it's not registering the heat. As a result, it will overheat and shut down. Good Luck!

My light is on all the time. The ABS light comes and goes.
I just replaced the thermostat and nothing has changed.
I need to find out why my fan is not turning on. Not sure if the fan is busted or something in the relay.

I need to fix my car first.
I found a set of wheels like yours for $500. So I might go for them.
Sorry to drag you along like this.
