I’ve opted to replace the convertible top on my ’95 GT. It’s torn just behind the drivers side rear window in several places. The bottom of the rear window has completely separated for the third time. I’m a little frustrated. I’ve been wanting to upgrade my suspension for a long time and now I have to wait even longer.
Does anyone know of a good place to have this done? I’m not made of money so I’d like a place that won’t rape me. Would it be cheaper to purchase the parts some where and have a shop install them or just have the shop do that? Is there any parts that can be reused (headliner / window)?
I live in Santa Clara. I was told there’s a place on El Camino called Premier Upholstery, but they look pretty high end. Has anyone dealt with them?
Thanks

Bascom Trim in Santa Clara is probably the best in the area. But, that would be if you were made of money. Can't hurt to stop by and get a quote though.

WOW! Just called them and they are expensive. $1,500. I called some other places and posted what I found out over in the general forum. Take a look.

You can buy the parts off Ebay and maybe try to put it on the Stang your self. Good luck, Jeddi
