Power steering pump is VERY simple....probably an hour job at most. As for the heater core....put it to you this way....I'm a mechanic. I work on cars day in and day out. I do everything from fords, to mercedes.and do on.....when my heater core went out....I put on a fucking coat and dealt with the cold like a man......it's a job that I would not wish on anyone. Let's just say to do it involves removing the whole dash and everything surrounding it. It doesn't even get that cold here anyways, maybe in frisco but that's about it.
