The electric runs flat out all the time and is not dependent on engine speed like the stocker. So at lower RPM your getting a lot higher flow than you would with your belt driven one. Plus you can turn it on while the engine is off and drop temp rather quickly, however you already have underdrive pulleys so the hp diff. will not be that great.
