It is so easy. remove shift knob. remove 4 bolts. remove stock shifter. clean surface. add small bead of RTV blue silicone. That was the first thing that I ever did to my car. It took me about 30 min but I had trouble gettingthe old one off. The sealant from the old one held it so well so I had to sepend time scraping it away so that it would come off. But after I got it off it was only a matter of minutes before it was on. The easiest thing you will probably ever put on. Also mine makes noise. Like a windy noise.
