you're better off just getting a different car, not like they're rare or anything ![[Smile]](smile.gif)

on a car that new, I'd honestly consider the sell it/buy a new/newish GT with a 5-speed.
if you were talking about a fox you picked up for $2 or $3k with a good motor, I'd be all for a $1000 ish swap.
Hey if you're going to invest all the time/effort consider something better than the T45, like the tremec 3650 or whatever you can get to fit if drag racing is in the car's future. If not forget I said anything.

Why do you want a manual? My buddy has an automatic witha chip and shift kit in it and it shifts faster than I could ever shift in my mustang. Just keep it and put a shift kit in for like 200 and a chip for like 300 and your car will be shifting so hard you wont want to get rid of it trust me.

If you change computers, you'll also have to get the PATS (Passive Anti-Theft System) reprogrammed by the dealer. It's not just a matter of programming the key--the computer itself will need to be reprogrammed, or the car won't even start.
