ok....when i leave a dead stop, my car makes a poping noise,almost like my throttle plate is slamming against something. but it doesnt do it all the time. it only does it when i just give it a little gas. only sometimes it does it when i floor it. its bugging the shit out of me and i cant figure it out. im thinking it has to be my carb....but its brand new...so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

well.....it almost sounds like its from my carb, ive never been able to actually hear it up close, except for when im in the car, i just dont understand. u think its my carb?

Check that your plug wires are going to the right plugs and you didnt cross them up somehow.

Fixed it today! It was my timing...my dads timing gun must be broken cause it was 13 degrees off. now it runs perfect and i guess ill have to go back to the track and see what i really get. i ran it last week when it was running like shit and the best was a 16 somethin!WTF!I think i might be getting too much traction, got 295s on the back.....so ill see thanks
