Ok I would like to know whatr you all think about this? Is it a good deal, price in the right range, if you have know first hand or heard anything about the company, and what you would do about the cams? Thanks
sorry it was late forgot to copy and paste. Thanks for inquiring. I market a swap kit for the '96-98 GT cars that includes ported PI heads. The Ported PI Headswap Kit comes complete with everything you need to perform the swap. The heads are brand new OEM Ford '01 PI heads that are fully ported. For the supercharger guys I modify the combustion chambers to lower the compression to a more "boost-friendly" 9.25:1 compression. Just by bolting the heads on you get 10.5:1 compression so you see why this is a necessary modification for a supercharged engine. Kit also includes a new '02 GT intake manifold, all bolts, gaskets, heater transfer tube (runs under the intake) and oil dipstick tube. The price for the kit is $1500. For camshafts we can do either regrinds or the new ModMax cams. I have several blower grinds to choose from with the regrinds and they're priced at $395 set. The ModMax cams have two different blower grinds to choose from and are $395 per cam. You can see all the details on the kit and the cams at www.dtaperformance.com. Let me know if I can answer any questions for you. [ September 03, 2002, 07:50 PM: Message edited by: ihatethesesns ]

I think its a great deal anytime you can get something for nothing. So I don't see how it could possibly be a bad deal.

Good luck, you probably get those heads from Shannon in next millenium. Check corral.net, a lot of guys who ordered from him waited very long time and spent the same time fighting for refund. It's not like he's a terrible person, just took a lot of orders and couldn't keep up. I'd suggest to call Randy Stinchcomb at Universal Ford in Baltimore 410-655-2000 (ext 8), he can hook you up on really good deal. For porting check out Fox Lake or Power Heads. Will be a little bit more expensive but in reasonable time frame. Good luck.
