I have a 90 5.0 with stock heads and valve covers. I wanted to install a set of roller rockers but i have a couple of questions. First will 1.7 cobra roller rockers fit on my heads under my stock valve covers and for a direct bolt on do i get pedestal or stud mount rockers?

cobra 1.7 roller rockers will fit under the stock valve covers and you need pedastal type NOT STUD MOUNT.

BTW- I remember mmff did a dyno with stock motor and 1.7's and the roller rockers did not give the motor any power. You will notice a difference in smoothness though.
