After i drive my car for a while and or let it idle and warm If i turn her off she wont start anymore. All i can hear is a "Click". If i let her cool down for a while then she will Crank over and start. I already changed the Starter Selinoied and that wasnt it. What else can it be??? Could it be the starter? Anything electrical? Thanx for any help.JR.

Clean your batter terminals, cables & ground (on the timing cover). If it still happens, it's probably the starter. [ August 21, 2002, 11:01 AM: Message edited by: 93PONY ]

I relocated my Battery and the ground cable is attached to the trunk not the frame. Could it be that i dont have enough ground?? Would that cause it to not want to start? Thanx for the reply *93*

Hmm.. What guage wires are you running? Sounds to me like a typical ground problem. Do you have high compression that's taxing a weak starter maybe? PA performance makes a good starter if you have to go that route.

i had the same problem with my car, except it wouldn't start at all. see that it had been hiddin in a tow yard for about a year, when try starting it, all that would happen was that ticking ur talking about.
I tried the solenoid, and the starter, charged the battery, and it still nothing.
I changed the battery and the problem was solved. Maybe u just got a shitty battery. [ August 21, 2002, 05:49 PM: Message edited by: 87Saleen ]

starter solenoid it seems, but can also be ignition module.
