I think I'm getting an x pipe for my 96 vert. I'm not sure whether to go with the OR pipe or the catted one. Concord cops have nothing to do, and I dont want a no cat ticket. Has anyone you know gotten a ticket for offroad exhaust? How much of a difference in power and sound is there?

i switched from a bassani w/cats to an o/r and lost tons of torque. my car feels hella weak now under 2500 rpms. topend feels and revs faster, but when i went to the track, i wasnt running as fast as before. but i dont think my car was running right... so i guess this doesnt help, lol

I would go with an off-road pipe.. I've had mine for 3+ years and never had a problem with the cops(at least not for being too loud!)I also run 3 chamber "Flows" cat back..I gained .3 in the quater just by switching out my stock "H" to an off road!!!
