I will be ordering some new headlight set and was interested in getting the ones with clear side lights vs the amber ones? I'm not sure where I read it but I've heard that the police can pull you over if you did this mod. Is this true? Also, would the bulb in that lense be amber or clear?

They are legal as long as they blink red or amber.

I've had clear corners with clear bulbs on my car for as long as I can remember. Every time I've been pulled over for whatever reason, cops never gave me a problem about the lights. And if you do get a ticket, then what? A $10 fine and switch to some orange ones? Just get them, you'll be fine.

Only legal if the lense has a DOT stamp on them. As far as I know, no front clear corner lights are approved. Some of the rear clear brake lamps are though.
