the rumors about the death of the 351w EFI roller motor are exaggerated: It's still available in econoline Van's and some other trucks. The 351W in the Saleen S351 sucked anyways. You almost couldn't put together a worse combo (GT-40 heads??)
a junkyard pullout 351 EFI roller can be as low as $75 or as high as $1000 for a complete motor.
Add to that all the other conversion things, + a blower, and figure your cost could vary from $2k to $10k. [ August 02, 2002, 04:46 PM: Message edited by: shade-tree ]

Most people that own S-351 are saving them for there value. These cars are the next Shelby's. For a clean 99, at least 50K.

There's a sweet 99 S351 for sale at the dealership next to the Porsche dealer in Walnut Creek. It cracks me up cause the dealer put a sign in the windshield that says, "Leather Seats!" LMAO, yeah, thats why I'll buy an S351, I just want the seats!! Fuck the 351 part, or the suspension, or the looks, just gotta have those leather seats.
I gotta go check on the price.
