I already have a trango shift kit in my car and I was wondering if I will have to modify it when I get gears put in.

No you will not have to modify the shift kit at all.
What gears do you plan on putting in?

Bet you will. LikeIke had to. The techs at TransGo can tell you what valve to modify in the valvebody (just using a specific drill bit) so it doesn't shift into OD whle you are in D. Put the gears in first to see if it needs the change.

I was planning on putting in 3.73 gears
I really don't want to modify the valvebody again because I basically just installed the shift kit and I don't want to re-do it.

He has a 92 mustang. It will only switch into Overdrive if he pushes the shifter in that position. If you leave it in Drive then it will only shift up to third gear.
