My first car and its what I've always wanted. I've loved mustands for a really long time and now I have a fox body. The car is a 93 lx with 3.73s and flowmaters. I'm was thinking bbk cold air, systemax II, pulleys, 76mm mass air, 65mm tb and a jet performance module.....and in a about 8 months a vortech a trim. what do u guys think? how much hp at the tires?

Mods look good! cold air, heads/intake, and some pulleys and i think youd be very happy. As far as the A trim, if your going to do heads/intake,etc, then id hold off on the "A" and save for an "S". The "A" would be pretty much maxed out. Go for an "S", and have some room to grow...

when you say 'systemax II' , you talking the whole she-bang? heads, cam, intake, etc.?

it's a decent combo, but for the money, you might consider a different setup.

once you have that kind of power, it's pretty well matched to the capacity of the stock driveline. I don't know if you want to blow up your tranny and whatnot, or be happy with a nice 12 second heads/cam/intake combo.

my vote is for the be happy [Wink]

The car has headers too, but what I was thinking is just the systemax II intake not the package. I read 5.0 mustang and they did dyno testing on that inake and thats what they liked the best. It goes well with s/c engines.

If youre going to do the intake, might as well save for the heads to match too. The Systemax intake isnt nearly as effective with the stock heads, and vice versa. id do it all at once.

if you want room to grow get a novi 2000, it makes the s trim look like it was an a trim. [Wink]

vortech took over paxton so they must think its a good product, install was 1 1/2 days (me and a friend) the hardest part is tapping the oil pan. it has a 3 year warranty if you leave the stock pulley. just make sure you dyno tune your car after you put novi, or any blower for that matter.(found out the hard way blown head gasket).one more thing the novi is capeble of producing 28lbs of boost, so you have room to grow.
