I recently did the 96-98 head swap,I also had a 70mm throttle body installed.I've noticed that when I give the car gas the idle is a bit to high it takes awhile for the idle to come down. Can anyone tell me what's going on or what I can do to fix it?

You're asking about the RPM's, but have you figured out the ticking noise. Javier said you might have a shot piston. Call me at work 650-857-5007.
