Borlas have a unique sound, not as booming as the flows, but a raspier tone, quieter in the car and out side, but still sound great at higher RPM's. If you want to be loud, get flows, if you want to sound a little different, borlas are the way to go. The power difference is probably negligible.

The quality of Borla is faaaaaaaaaaar better than that of flows. Much more unique sound also. I run the Borla side exit exhaust on my 95 and it is awesome. To me it sounds like a friggin nascar. Go with the Borla. It is more expensive but well worth the money!!!! Just my 2 cents

This comparison is a blowout apples to oranges.
Quality is the main reason Borla dominates over flows...or most all systems at that. [ July 09, 2002, 01:45 PM: Message edited by: VortechSaleen ]

Flowmaster - IMO - you get way more per dollar. I love the sound of a V8 with flows, and borla is a better sound, but for so much more $, it's not worth it in my opinion. And I think you can do just as much HP wise with Flowmasters as you can with Borla. So in other words, if you HAVE to have your car sound just a bit better, then the big price increase going to Borla is worth it.
