You will see absoluelty no hp difference between the two kits. I went with the mac first cause it was cheaper and I was impatient, but when I did the mass air conversion on my '87 I bought a bbk fenderwell kit and loved it. As for 91pony having problems....Everyone seems to have a bitch of a time installing them to make em work right....it didn't want to fit on mine either with the larger throttle body, but....I got it to work after a few minutes of dickin with it. If you want it for looks, the bbk looks excellent, and that would be my choice. Mac and BBK are made of polished steel.
