How do you guys feel bout the K&N cold-air induction kits? Better / worse then the MAC/BBK style? I mean ya they look worse, but wouldn't they function better because they arent made of metal?

go with desenger they show the best gains. Probably the ugliest but the best bang for your buck. Johnny [ July 02, 2002, 11:34 AM: Message edited by: SEMPERFI510 ]

I like the K&N because I believe it is the only smog legal system, also you still use the stock intake tube.

I went for the K&N Fuel Injection Performance Kit - basically an air filter twice the size of stock (and twice the size of most CAI) and in my opinion, the bigger air filter is getting me more power gains than by moving my air filter to the fender for cooler air. It was also very easy to install

I have had the KnN FIPK on all of my Mustangs, and have always felt a difference. It seems to me like the metal CAI would heat up more...
