I just picked up a KENWOOD KDC-V7016 and was planning to install it yesterday. But, lately, i heard that trying to install an aftermarket receiver to a Mach 460 system(1994) was extremely difficult(peripheral adapter, re-wiring of speakers, re-wiring of amps, etc.) those are all excuses i heard from audio shops. Are they pulling my leg or is it really that complicated to by-pass the MACH system? im not adding any woofers or changing my speakers, i just want to replace my stock deck. Highest quote i got was $120, and the harness was $50. I paid more than this a long time ago.
